Since 1991, Dr. Richard Doble, D.C. has had the privilege of treating thousands of patients at his clinics. He started his practice in San Francisco before moving to Sebastopol. He has helped many individuals achieve wellness without medication through a specialized cervical adjustment known as Toggle Recoil.
Dr. Doble's journey into chiropractic began in his teenage years. A series of neck and back injuries from wrestling, bodybuilding, powerlifting, and manual labor led him to discover chiropractic care. After unsuccessful treatments by numerous medical doctors, he found relief through a chiropractor, realizing that chiropractic offered solutions where traditional medicine did not.
After studying chiropractic at Life Chiropractic College West Dr. Doble gained extensive post-graduate training under renowned chiropractors. While exploring various chiropractic techniques, Dr. Doble received a life-changing adjustment from Dr. Bryan Duff using the Palmer Method of Upper Cervical Chiropractic. This single Toggle Recoil adjustment alleviated his chronic migraine headaches. Inspired by the effectiveness of this technique, Dr. Doble sought to master it himself.
In 1999, Dr. Doble found Dr. Clarence Jenson from Carmichael, California, who directly learned from Dr. B.J. Palmer, the developer of chiropractic, in the 1950s. Under Dr. Jenson's mentorship, Dr. Doble spent five years becoming an expert in the B.J. Palmer Upper Cervical HIO method.
Specific Upper Cervical Chiropractic Care was the only treatment that fully eradicated his pain. Dr. Doble's personal triumphs in chiropractic care have molded his approach to wellness, emphasizing honest and specific treatment. He is passionate and dedicated to practicing chiropractic correctly. Consulting with thousands of patients and experiencing the natural aging process himself, Dr. Doble has developed an instinctive expertise in his field.

Michele Aubin
Coming from the mainstream medicine world as a bio-engineer working in a cancer center, Michele took a few classes and became a Natural Health Practitioner. This adjustment made her work at the office more in harmony with the practice. After all, Chiropractic is at the heart of natural healing.
But it's really through relationship and daily discussions with Rich about chiropractic history, techniques, and innate healing abilities that Michele became really interested in being involved at the front desk.
As a team, we, both share the same point of view: "The power of healing is every patient's responsibility. All we do here in this office is creating an opening with patient's mind and body to let the life-force energy (or innate) improve health and create long-lasting wellbeing."
Having previously worked as a bio-engineer in a cancer center within conventional medicine, Michele transitioned to becoming a Natural Health Practitioner after completing a few specialized courses. This shift allowed her to align her office work more closely with holistic practices. After all, chiropractic care plays a central role in natural healing.
Michele's true interest in joining the front desk team blossomed through her ongoing relationship and daily conversations with Rich, where they delved into chiropractic history, techniques, and innate healing powers. As a team, we hold a shared belief: "Healing power lies within each patient. Our role in this office is merely to facilitate an opening within the patient's mind and body, allowing the life-force energy or 'innate' to enhance health and foster lasting well-being."
